05.09.2019 Koten Roshi Dharma Talk
On the occasion Koten Roshi and Doiku sensei’s visit in Athens, early September for our Sesshin, we thought about organizing an open event to enable all of those who will not participate in the Sesshin to get in touch with these important teachers.
It will be a two-hour event about Zen, during which, apart from the zazen meditation lecture, there will be time for questions and discussion with the teachers.
Koten Inoue Roshi is the abbot of Soto Zen Saikenji and teaches at the Zen monastery Hossinji.
Born in 1944 in Takahara near Hiroshima, he became a monk in Fukui in 1959, under the direction of the Zen Master, Sekkei Harada.
He received the title of Zen Master in 2004 and began visiting Greece and teaching the Zen Center Athens Sangha in 2014.
